Dr. Joshua Boyden brings together a lifelong connection to agriculture with advanced expertise in veterinary medicine and bovine reproductive technology. He provides specialized reproductive services to farms throughout New York and New England, with a focus on IVF, OPU (ovum pick-up), embryo collection, and embryo transfer (ET).
Dr. Boyden works closely with farm owners and producers to develop individualized recipient protocols and reproductive programs designed to support the health, productivity, and success of their herds. He performs the transfer of thousands of fresh and frozen IVF embryos each year and is committed to providing the highest level of care, precision, and expertise at every stage of the reproductive process.
A 2012 graduate of the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Boyden founded Boyden Veterinary LLC in 2015. His practice combines traditional veterinary medicine with advanced assisted reproductive technologies, allowing him to provide comprehensive care tailored to the unique needs of each client and farm.
Growing up on a dairy farm in Massachusetts, Dr. Boyden developed an appreciation for livestock, agriculture, and the people who dedicate their lives to caring for animals. That experience continues to shape his approach today. Whether working with a dairy herd or providing traditional veterinary care, Josh is passionate about helping animals thrive and providing clients with knowledgeable, compassionate, and dependable veterinary care.
