Yes β€” we groom dogs too!

Fresh, fluffy, and farm-ready

Boyden Veterinary isn't only about cows and horses. We also offer dog grooming, so the four-legged members of your household can look and feel their best.

Whether your dog spends the day herding, rolling in the pasture, or napping on the sofa, we'll send them home clean, comfortable, and very pleased with themselves.

What we offer

🐾 Bath & Blow-Dry

A gentle shampoo, a good rinse, and a fluffy dry. Mud-puddle souvenirs not included.

🐾 Brush-Out & De-Shedding

Loose undercoat and tangles out, so it ends up in the brush instead of on your couch.

🐾 Nail Trims

Neat, comfortable nails β€” goodbye to the tap-tap-tap across the kitchen floor.

🐾 Ear Cleaning

Clean, fresh ears and a chance to spot anything that needs a closer look.

🐾 Haircuts & Tidy-Ups

From a quick face-and-feet tidy to a full trim, styled to suit your dog.

Why grooming matters

Regular grooming is about more than good looks. It keeps skin and coat healthy, prevents painful mats, keeps nails at a comfortable length, and gives us a chance to notice lumps, bumps, or skin problems early.

Grooming tips from the farm

  • Brush your dog a few times a week β€” it keeps the coat healthy and makes grooming day easier.
  • Muddy farm dog? Let the mud dry first; much of it will brush right out.
  • Get your pup used to having paws and ears handled with a few treats at home.
  • A good walk before the appointment helps an energetic dog settle on the table.
